Our MY Silas

The “Silas” is what is known as a “steel displacement boat”. With displacement boats, speed is not the priority; instead, they offer economical, comfortable cruising. At a cruising speed of around 1,600 rpm, the “Silas” uses just 5 litres of diesel per hour! We recommend 1,600–1,800 rpm (approx. 10–11 km/h) as the ideal cruising speed.
