Technical specifications

The "Silas" is what is known as a "semi-displacement boat". With displacement boats, speed is not the priority; economical and comfortable cruising is. At an economical cruising speed of around 1,600 rpm, the "Silas" uses only approx. 5 litres of diesel per hour! We recommend 1,600–1,800 rpm as the ideal cruising speed (approx. 10–11 km/h).Year built:         2013Engine:         Volvo Penta diesel, D3-110 modelPropeller shaft with water-lubricated bearings and a single propellerElectronic engine controlBow and stern thrustersRemote control for bow & stern thrusters (!)60-litre hot-water boilerGauges for various "tank levels" (water, wastewater, diesel)VHF radio
