NEW FOR 2027 :
- From now on, we, Peggy & Michael Reich, will take responsibility for bookings, charter contracts and handovers/returns of the Silas ourselves. Bookings are handled directly by the owners.
- Our charter guests depart from Neumagen-Drohn in the beautiful Middle Moselle region
- Handover/return days are Saturday or Sunday (in exceptional cases, Friday)
- Technical support is provided by Marina Mittelmosel shipyard, which has extensive experience with Linssen yachts, under the supervision of Heidi and Peter Schönberger. For almost 30 years, they both ran the Saarmoselyachtcharter / Yachtcharter Holiday Tours charter business from Merzig harbour on the Saar
run by the Linssen Boating Holiday network.

The “Silas” offers plenty of space for 2–6 people and can sleep up to 8 when the saloon is converted.
Our cruising area covers several rivers and regions:
- The Moselle from Koblenz to Nancy (F)
- The Saar to Saarbrücken
- Parts of the French canals, such as the Saar Coal Canal and the Rhine-Marne Canal
- The idyllic and breathtakingly beautiful Lahn
- The "Big" and "Little" Sauerkraut Tours
We’re happy to accommodate requests for long-term charters and put together combined cruises with other guests.

We, Peggy and Michael Reich, together with our daughter Bianca, have been the owners of the "Silas" since 25 October 2019.
For many years, we chartered yachts in a wide range of cruising areas across Europe once or twice a year.
In France, the Netherlands (including Friesland), Croatia, and the German Baltic or North Sea coastal regions,
We’ve already cruised the Mecklenburg Lake District, Berlin and the Lahn.

In April 2019, we chartered the motor yacht Gudrun from Saarmoselyachtcharter and explored the Saar/Moselle cruising area for the first time. We were impressed by the condition of the older boat.
A tour of the rest of the fleet showed the care with which the team led by Peter Schönberger at the time looked after the boats.
We got talking and mentioned our plans,
“someday” to buy a boat through a purchase charter.
The Schönbergers made us an offer for a new Linssen yacht. We thought it over, and then received another offer for a used yacht (the Silas).
So, since 25 October 2019, we have been the proud owners of the motor yacht “Silas”!
It can happen that quickly...
